If you would like to drive a car that you can enjoy and be proud of, you should consider checking out the selection of beautiful and affordable vehicles at Paaco. We handle all of our own financing, so you don’t have to worry about going through a long credit approval process or getting denied because your score is too low.

Once you purchase the used car that you have always wanted, however, you will probably want to keep it as clean as possible so that you can show it off when you’re on the road. Unfortunately, hiring a professional to detail your vehicle can be costly, but that doesn’t mean that you have to spend a fortune or drive around in a dirty car. Instead, you can follow these tips for do it yourself car detailing so that you can get your car spotless all on your own.

Buy the Right Products

Since you’re already saving a lot of money by detailing your vehicle yourself, you shouldn’t skimp on buying the best possible products. By investing in tire cleaner, a special detergent that is designed for cleaning the exterior of your vehicle and a nice interior auto spray, you can get started the right way. You will also want to find a comfortable place to wash your car, and you will need a portable vacuum cleaner, multiple microfiber cloths, paper towels, chamois cloths and other miscellaneous items.

Take Your Time

If you rush through the job of cleaning your car, you will be able to tell it. Instead, turn on your favorite music or focus on thinking and relaxing. Also, make sure that you set aside at least a couple of hours so that you can get the job done right.

Take it One Step at a Time

If your vehicle is a mess, the prospect of getting it really and truly clean can seem daunting. To make the process seem a bit easier, you should focus on one area of the vehicle at a time. For example, if you start on the inside, you can focus on cleaning one passenger area at a time.

Focus on Your Tires

Clean and shiny tires and rims can make all the difference in how the outside of your vehicle looks, so take your time to clean them to perfection. A good tire and rim cleaner should work well, but it might take a bit of time to get into all of the nooks and crannies on your rims. Even though it might seem to take a while, focusing on your rims and tires will be worthwhile when you see how beautiful your car looks.

Keep it Clean

Once you have dedicated your time to detailing your vehicle, you should focus on keeping it neat afterwards. Keeping a small bag in your car for garbage, using cleaning wipes on the interior and spraying it off regularly will help you keep your car looking its best for a while after your detailing job.
